About Us

Maslee was founded in 1985 by Mr Lee Chuan Aik and Mr Lee Boon Lye. In the beginning, the company was named Emaniaga Food Industry. The business was driven by van sales, selling 20 sen crackers. Slowly, they added spices to their supply and eventually earned enough money to start sourcing and selling groceries. Once they have mustered enough experience, they began to merge the family business to form their first supermarket in the year 1995 and then later rebranded to Emaniaga Maju Sdn Bhd in 1996.

The concept of "My Neighbour" has become Maslee’s primary marketing principle whereby the synergy of effort in relation to the key elements below are incorporated into Maslee’s daily operations.
